Rebranding is a necessity in today’s fast-paced world of business. And it’s more than just a fresh new logo or a new color scheme – it’s a strategic move that helps companies stay relevant, allowing them to evolve alongside audiences who are themselves constantly evolving and giving them the chance to adapt to changes in industry trends.
But whether it’s a complete overhaul or a subtle refinement, a successful rebrand – or even just a simple refresh – can help to breathe new life into a company, boost customer loyalty, and, in some cases, can even be the determining factor in driving a company’s growth. Several brands have already made the leap this year, unveiling new identities that reflect their future visions. So, let’s look at four companies/organizations that have embraced change and rebranded themselves in 2025.

1. New Orleans Airport
The New Orleans Airport wasted no time dropping a new logo before the Super Bowl. In doing so, it took the opportunity to welcome the tradition the city is known for with the fleur de lis in the logo while also inviting a touch of modernity with the simplified design. This updated version of the logo was intended to blend the old and the new. It does so well, allowing travelers coming into the city to get a taste of the classic appeal of the region while also being invited to see how New Orleans is on the brink of continued growth.

2. United Food Bank of Arizona
The United Food Bank has done more than spice things up with a new logo. It has established itself with its own brand identity, taking the chance to create something entirely new with a design that breaks away entirely from its older logo, which felt like an extension of the Feeding America logo, to launch something that includes numerous details such as the Saguaro cactus and a tomato that doubles as a rising sun, which firmly hints at its location in Mesa, Arizona.

3. ATS Aviation
ATS Aviation has rebranded, bringing together three core businesses under one brand structure, and that can be seen in the company’s color scheme and iconography as well. Seeing the importance of staying true to the three companies that have merged, its logo blends deep blue, sky blue, and vibrant orange – three bold colors symbolizing the three companies that comprise the structure of ATS. Meanwhile, a falcon icon lies at the heart of the company logo to symbolize strength and resilience, with the sub-companies each having their own symbols of a lock wire, an aircraft, and a medical cross. This is one of the bolder rebrands and one of the most effective in improving the overall image of ATS.

4. The White House
There isn’t much that can be done to change the logo for The White House, though when looking at the details in the design for President Trump’s second term, a few things stand out. While we like the more condensed, serif font selected for the “The White House” and believe that it balances the design with the wordmark a bit better, the vector design of the White House got more complex, even as the size was reduced. Regardless, the change isn’t that substantial. Fast Company did a deeper dive on the redesign, along with a history lesson, in January.
Honorable Mention: Walmart
Though the changes to Walmart’s design should be more accurately classified as a refresh than a rebrand, we would be remiss not to mention them here. The company has chosen bolder colors and a bolder font, and it’s a move that makes sense. A company as well-known as Walmart wouldn’t want to make too drastic of a change or risk losing recognition, though making just enough of a change to stay relevant is important in today’s ever-evolving world.
Conclusion
The year has just begun, so we’re likely to see many more companies launch rebrands, and it will be interesting to see just what that will entail, from those giving themselves brand-new looks to those who are simply looking for a bit of a refresh to keep up with today’s consumers.
